Resetting Student Passwords Through Teacher Console

If a student has lost or forgotten their password, the Teacher Console can be used to reset it.

Open Teacher Console app in ClassLink > find your class name that the student is in

Click the Students tab on the left > find the student name

To reset a student password, click on the student whose password you wish to reset. In the menu that appears, enter a temporary password for the student to enter, then click the Reset button. On their next login, they will be prompted to enter a new password.

*Note*: Teacher Console will only open if you are a teacher with assigned classes.  You will only be able to reset the password of a student if they have signed in at least once. If they have not signed in before, their password should still be set as the default password.
